Dear Medfesters,
Thank you for joining us for an evening of Music, Mission, & Unconditional Care to support Medworks’ mission to provide FREE and volunteer-driven medical, dental, women’s health, vision, and mental health care to our Northeast Ohio neighbors in need.
What a great night we had! Cocktail hour brought us the enchanting sounds of Aoifa Hearty and Joe Tatton, who joined us all the way from London! The incredible Dr. David Thomas Gospel Choir ushered us into the theatre for dinner, filling the theatre with abounding energy. Eddie Roberts and The Lucky Strokes rounded out the evening in the Ballroom with an incredible set that got everyone moving!
We were thrilled to share with you our newest partnership with the Juvenile Detention Center, to bring dental, primary care, and women’s health care to the young adults and teens there who go without care while in custody or who, for various reasons, never received care in the first place. Thank you, Judge Anne McDonough, for sharing your heartfelt stories.
Crooked Pecker’s Medfest Pale Ale was undoubtedly a hit, and Chef Kelli and Cleveland Field Kitchen satiated us with another fantastic farm-to-table meal. This year, the menu featured three farms within three miles of the Agora Theatre!
You helped us to raise nearly $280,000 to support Medworks mission of Unconditional Care. Thank you to everyone who contributed, large and small. For every $100 that Medworks raises, we can deliver over $1,000 in free health services to local neighbors in need. Your contribution will make a real difference for the people who Medworks serves!
Finally, a sincere thank you to the amazing volunteers, sponsors, Groupies, donors, and all who pitched in over the days and weeks leading to Medfest to tend to the details that make Medfest so special and support this annual anticipated event. The unique energy and spirit we all feel at Medfest is only possible because many in this amazing community come together to create the magic. Thank you.
Best,
Rosemary Pierce & the Medworks Team

We are people helping people.
For 10 years the Medworks community has provided free medical, dental, and vision services to patients in Northeast Ohio who are uninsured or underinsured.
We are grateful to our incredible donors, partners, and medical and community volunteers.
You are continually reminding us, and each other, what it means to care.
Together, we have changed lives and saved lives.
We have detected cancers, diabetes, and much more, and helped patients determine next steps on their path to health. For thousands, we have restored oral health and provided free eyeglasses.
Our mission goes beyond one day of exceptional care at a Medworks Clinic.
We enroll patients in health insurance and introduce patients to nearby medical homes
to nurture long-term health.
Our work continues until everyone in our community has the healthcare we all deserve.
Nearly 33 percent of our Cleveland family lives in poverty, and the number of those who are uninsured is rising. Our neighbors should not have to choose between medical care or food or housing.
Please consider giving to Medworks.
Your generous gift to Medworks will help fund equipment, supplies, and program development as we continue to serve our community in 2020.
