The City Mission
The City Mission offers a variety of programs: overnight shelters and residential transitional programs for homeless men, women and children; spiritual aid for those incarcerated; daytime, afterschool, and evening youth programs; necessities for the poor including clothing and food; and an overnight camp experience for urban youth and families. The City Mission has three locations: E.55th and Carnegie Avenue, Laura’s Home on Puritas Avenue in Cleveland and Grand Valley Christian Retreat Center in Ashtabula County.

Downtown Cleveland Alliance, Clean & Safe Ambassador Program (DCA)
Through the Clean & Safe Ambassador Program, DCA enhances the pedestrian experience by keeping the sidewalks of Downtown Cleveland clean, safe, and welcoming.  Several Ambassadors are trained in social outreach, and through our growing co-responder program, DCA connects people in crisis with the shelter and services they need.

FrontLine Service
In operation since 1988, FrontLine Service provides the largest and most comprehensive continuum of care for homeless persons in Ohio. Their homeless assistance programs provide assertive street outreach, coordinated intake to the county’s emergency shelters, temporary housing, case management, psychiatric and drug and alcohol programming for individuals with co-occurring disorders, along with more than 1,000 units of permanent supportive housing with specialized services to families, young adults and veterans.

The Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland
Whether it’s embracing the homeless, uplifting the abused or abandoned, training and mentoring the disadvantaged, providing character building programs for youth, or assisting the displaced or elderly, The Salvation Army’s goal remains the same: serving the most people, meeting the most needs, DOING THE MOST GOOD!
