Volunteer Roles

Event Set Up (Day before event)
Unload equipment and supplies. Some lifting will be required.

Event Breakdown (After event)
Pack and reload equipment and supplies . Some lifting will be required.

COVID Protocol
Greet patients; take patients’ temperatures and ask CDC screening questions. This position is reserved for licensed nurse.

Pre-Registration
Greet patients; assign patient numbers and distribute wristbands.

Patient Guide/Floater
Accompany patients throughout the treatment process from triage, to treatment, to check-out. Help pass out water bottles and snacks to patients who are waiting to receive treatment.

Patient Check Out
Collect and organize patient’s paperwork during check-out process. Good for detail-oriented people.

Social Worker
Assist patients during check-out with any social services they may be in need of. This position is reserved for licensed social workers.

Medical Triage
Meet with patients to take blood pressure and a general health history. This position is reserved for licensed nurse.

Photographer
Capture photos of the event. Photographer must bring own equipment.

Interpreter (Spanish, ASL)
Assist non-English-speaking patients through the entire process from entry to exit.

Every effort will be made to place general volunteers in the position requested. Final assignments may be affected by need and number of volunteers present. Please be flexible!
